CAPM Advisory Limited has signed Financial Advisory Agreement with one of the largest conglomerate in Bangladesh for its Mill No. 3 Cement Factory in Mongla Project.

CAPM Advisory Limited (CAPMAL) has signed an Issue Management (Issue of Capital) agreement with ACI Godrej Agrovet Private Limited one of the largest Joint Venture Company in Bangladesh. The agreement was signed by MD of ACI Godrej Agrovet Private Limited Mr. Puneet Pokhriyal and MD & CEO of CAPM Advisory Ltd. Mr. Adel Ahmed. CAPMAL will assist the company to raise its paid up capital by issuing preference share to the existing shareholder.

Arifur Rahman

Mr. Arifur Rahman is the Chairman of CAPM Advisory Ltd. He started his career as a Tea Planter and worked with James Finlay PLC as an Asst. manager during October 1994 -July 1998 but now, he is an established businessman.
He completed his Bachelor in Arts (BA) from University of Dhaka and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Northern University, Bangladesh. He is a successful entrepreneur of diverse range of business ventures.
He is the Managing Director of Green Planet Resort Limited, a five star tourist resort located in Srimongal, Sylhet at an area of 450 Bigha land. He is the Chairman of Badar Spinning Mills Limited, a 100% export oriented knitting factory, the Chairman of M.M. Spinning Mills Limited, manufacturing threads for local markets and the Chairman of Blue Planet Communications Limited, involved in the business of IT sector. Blue Planet Sweater Ltd and Blue Planet Knitwear Ltd are another two companies where he is acting as the Chairman. He is also the Managing Director of the Sky Capital Airlines Ltd.

Fokhrul Mohammed Islam

Mr. Fokhrul Mohammed Islam is the director of CAPM Advisory Ltd. He is a British-Bangladeshi Businessman. He is a well known and reputed businessman in British-Bangladeshi Community of UK. He completed his Masters in Psychology from University of Dhaka.
Mr. Islam is involved in various investment activities. He is the Managing director of Golden Bridge Investment Ltd. (GBI) & UK NRB Ltd. GBI is the majority owner of an Asset Management Company in Bangladesh. He is also the current Finance Director of Kushiara Services Limited. He is also the Director of Fahad International, an Export and Import Company in Dhaka. Mr. Islam is the member of British Bangladesh Chamber and Bangladesh Caterers Association.

Asad Murshed Bin Sher Ali

Asad Murshed Bin Shis Ali is the Managing Director & CEO of CAPM Advisory Limited. Mr. Murshed has over a decade of “financial service” market experience. Before joining his current role, Mr. Murshed worked in Green Delta Securities Ltd in various capacities. His long career in capital market has given his invaluable expertise in working with different business environments. Mr. Murshed has gained his experience in working with regulatory and fiscal compliance at GrameenPhone Ltd, monitoring and different institutional clients for diversifying equity base, exposure management etc from Green Delta Securities. Moreover, he has expertise in leading portfolio management team, margin control and designing customized investment solutions as per clients investment needs. Under his prudent leadership, an organization can able to provide better value added services both B2B and B2C.
Mr. Murshed completed his Masters in Management. He attained valuable exposure about capital market through attending different trainings in home and abroad. Apart from his professional responsibilities, Mr. Murshed is deeply involved with human resources development for capital market.

S M Mahmud Hussain,CFA

Mr. Mahmud Hussain, CFA is the founder of CAPM Advisory Limited and currently supports the company as Chief Technical Advisor. Mr. Hussain possesses advanced level of understandings and knowledge on capital market operations, financial management techniques, financial derivatives, asset management and fund management.
Mr. Hussain possesses educational background in the three broad areas of finance. He is a CFA charter holder, has double MBA, one in Development Management from IBA, Dhaka University and other in Finance from International University of Japan, Japan. He also holds a Masters degree in Mathematical Finance from Oxford University (UK) and a post-graduate diploma in International Business from Stern Business School of New York University (USA).
Mr. Hussain has more than one and half decade of wide ranging local and global experience in financial services market with world recognized organizations including World Bank, Deutsche Bank, Nikko Salomon Smith Barney (Tokyo) and Citigroup UK. Prior to returning to Bangladesh in 2011, Mr. Hussain had been the Director of Capital markets & Banking, Citigroup UK, London, UK since 2006. He has experience of working in all three global financial hubs – Tokyo, London & New York.
Mr. Hussain had voluntarily left Citigroup UK, London, UK and returned to Bangladesh with the intention to introduce modern fund management practices in Bangladesh to facilitate growth of Bangladesh Capital Market through proper implementation of global standard practices.
He is also the founder & MD/CEO of CAPM (Capital & Asset Portfolio Management) Company Limited, an upcoming Asset management Company in Bangladesh. He is also a founding Director of Goldenbridge Investments Ltd in UK.
Mr. Hussain also served in Bangladesh Military with distinction and retired voluntarily from Army in 1995 to pursue global financial career. Among his many assignments, he worked as Platoon Commander in Bangladesh Military Academy. He also received Academic Gold Medal while graduating from Academy in 1984.
Beside the capital market involvements, Mr. Hussain also teaches finance courses sometime as a Guest Faculty at IBA, Dhaka University. He is also involved in Climate Finance consultancy and currently helping to establish Rwanda National Climate Fund as a member of University of Wolverhampton, UK led consulting team.
He is a member of number of social clubs & an active member of Rotary.
